The Third And Final Phase Of Scorpion Season Begins On Monday

The Al-Ujairi Scientific Center has declared the onset of the third and final phase of the scorpion season, marking the conclusion of winter, which is set to commence on Monday. During this phase, the transition from winter to spring begins, as we bid adieu to the colder months while still experiencing lingering chill in the air.

According to the center's statement, this period is characterized by erratic weather patterns and fluctuating temperatures, oscillating between lows and highs. It's also commonly known for what locals refer to as "the old woman’s cold," where individuals may feel a relative chill after warmer days. As a result, some may find themselves shedding winter layers prematurely in favor of lighter clothing to adapt to the milder temperatures, as reported by Al-Qabas daily.

Additionally, the center highlighted that the length of daylight will gradually increase during this time, with daytime temperatures eventually surpassing those of the night. This shift towards longer days is anticipated to become more pronounced after mid-March.
