The Second Batch Pfizer Vaccine Arrived In Kuwait

The Director of Public Relations and Information at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Ghada Ibrahim, confirmed that there is no slow pace in the vaccination process compared to some neighboring countries, indicating that a good proportion of the beneficiaries were vaccinated while the batches that received vaccination amounted to 1200 per day.

Ibrahim said, in a press statement during the preparations for the opening of Hall No. 6 in the Kuwait Vaccination Center in the exhibition grounds, in the presence of His Highness the Prime Minister, that the batches that received doses amounted to 1200 per day.

Ibrahim indicated that the second batch of the Pfizer vaccine arrived in Kuwait at the beginning of this week.

Regarding the complaint of some elderly people who arrive at the center and are not vaccinated, Ibrahim explained that whoever registered on the platform has a role in vaccination, as we are following a system of quotas distributed for each of the categories that have been announced, which are the first rows of medical staff in the Ministry of Health or the sector Al-Ahly, along with the Ministries of Interior and Defense, the Fire Force and the National Guard, and the elderly from the age of 65 and over and those with special needs, confirming that the work proceeds according to the quota system and a certain percentage for each group.
