The Public Prosecution Detains Two In A Probe Into The Kuwaiti Society By-election

The Public Prosecution has commenced an investigation into the organization of by-elections for a specific segment of Kuwaiti society before the slated date for the 2024 National Assembly elections. The probe is targeting candidates and other individuals involved in the process.

As part of the investigation, the Public Prosecution has taken action by ordering the detention of two defendants. Additionally, arrest warrants and summonses have been issued for other implicated individuals. The investigation procedures are currently underway.
