The Minister Of Health Discussed Strengthening Health Security With The Us Ambassador

The Minister of Health, Dr. Basil Al-Sabah this morning, US Ambassador to Kuwait Alina Romanowski, and they reviewed areas of cooperation between the Ministry of Health and medical institutions and centers in the United States of America.

The Ministry of Health said in a statement that Dr. Basil Al-Sabah and the American ambassador discussed aspects of future cooperation to strengthen relations between the two sides in various health fields, for the benefit of both sides, and to benefit from the opportunities available to develop joint health programs and strategies that are consistent with the interests of both sides, and in a way that serves the strengthening of health security, systems and policies of preparedness, response, surveillance, and confronting related emergencies. Relation to health and work to achieve health-related sustainable development goals.

The ministry explained that the meeting was prevalent in a positive atmosphere that reflects the depth of relations between the two sides and the keenness to develop them in various fields, pointing to the presence of the Director of the International Health Relations Department, Dr. Rehab wattan encounter.
