The Epidemic Recedes Before The Vaccine Arrives
A sigh of relief for Kuwait as the Coronavirus epidemic seems to decline even before the arrival of the expected vaccine, Al Qabas reported quoting government statistics.
The number of Corona patients in intensive care has decreased from 115 on November 10, to 82 cases yesterday, the decline rate is about 29%.
Even the daily infection curve continued to decline to 209 cases per day, compared to 658 recoveries, meaning that the recovery cases are 3 times more than the newly infected.
November also witnessed the lowest death rates in the past seven months, with 101 deaths, compared to 186 in May and 142 in June.
The credit for all this goes to the commitment of citizens and residents that they abide by the preventive requirements, the application of physical distancing in life activities and business institutions, and awareness of the seriousness of the disease, which resulted in a remarkable decline in the spread of infection.
Kuwaiti has succeeded in wagering awareness of wearing masks, sterilization, and minimizing physical contact, crowded places.
