The Cost Of Adding Housewives

Health insurance for retirees (Afiya) was costing KD33.76 million to add housewives as beneficiaries, Al-Anba Daily reports. Sources revealed that the Ministry of Health asked the concerned authorities to make a change order in the health insurance contract for retirees (Afiya), adding KD33.76 million for eight and a half months. According to sources, the regulatory authorities have approved the change order to add the aforementioned amount to the ‘Afiya’ contract covering the period from January 1 to September 15, 2024.
