'Temporary Halt' To Kuwaitis Pursuing Medical Education In Jordan And Egypt
Minister of Education, Higher Education, and Scientific Research Dr Adel Al-Manea has issued Ministerial Resolution number 412 pertaining to the temporary suspension of enrollments for Kuwaitis studying medicine in the Jordanian Hashemite Kingdom and Egypt, according to Al-Anba daily.
Article One: The enrollment of Kuwaitis studying medical disciplines (Human Medicine, Dentistry, Doctor of Pharmacy, and Pharmacy) at Jordanian universities mentioned in Ministerial Resolution 150/2022 and Egyptian universities mentioned in Ministerial Resolution 151/2022 is temporarily suspended.
Article Two: In accordance with the scholarship plan and subsequent ministerial decisions, new students who study at their own expense and are admitted to various medical courses in the first semester of 2023/2024 are allowed to enroll at the above-mentioned universities.
Article Three: All students (freshmen and continuing) studying at their own expense in medical specializations in accredited universities in Jordan and Egypt are allowed to apply if they meet the admission requirements by the end of the academic year 2023/2024.
