Sulaibiya Clinic Decides To Apply Open-door Policy

21 June 2018 Kuwait

The Ministry of Health has endorsed the proposal to form teams for the evaluation of pharmacists and technicians recommended to occupy pharmacy-related jobs in governmental and private sectors, reports Al-Anba daily.

These teams will look into the qualifications and work experience of license applicants including pharmacists, technicians and assistant pharmacists. They will also set the terms and conditions for engaging in the profession as per the requirements of governmental and private sectors in a bid to improve pharmaceutical services.

For there, the officials of Sulaibiya Clinic have decided to apply the open-door policy by removing all the doors inside the clinic.

However, the patients have been expressing their surprise and concern for the last few days over the lack of doors in the clinic. They stressed the need for respecting the dignity and privacy of patients especially since other visitors wait outside the clinic rooms, as well as the need to ensure confidentiality of the patients’ information.
