Special Forces Fire In The Air To Break Up ‘bloody Fight’

Members of the Special Forces sent to a park in Jahra, the scene of a bloody fight, had to fire in the air to break up a fight between a group of young men, who are armed with knives and refused to stop fighting.

The Al-Rai daily quoting securitymen said Special Forces men tried in vain to separate the fighters, but their number was too big and refused to obey police, forcing the securitymen to fire warning shots in the air following which four of the suspects were taken into police custody and driven to the area police station.

Police are interrogating the men in custody while efforts are underway to arrest the rest of the suspect who fled the scene when police fired in the air.
