Soon, Teachers From Jordan And Palestine Will Arrive

23 August 2022 Kuwait
In order to streamline the processes for newly hired teachers recruited from Jordan and Palestine, the Ministry of Education is planning to establish a work team under the direction of Assistant Undersecretary for Administrative and Development Affairs Raja Bouarki. According to Al-Rai newspaper, the first group of these professors is anticipated to arrive in early September.

Some staff from the Ministry of Education's General Services Department, a number of personnel from the administrative field, and representatives from other departments and ministries, including the Ministries of Health and the Interior, make up this work team. Official educational sources revealed that the team will need around three weeks to adjust to the resumption of activities that have been suspended since the 2019–2020 school year owing to the COVID–19 crisis.
The most crucial steps are to work with the Ministry of Interior to get their entry visa and get their fingerprints taken, write to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation to meet them at Kuwait International Airport, and work with the Ministry of Interior's Ports Security Affairs to get permission to park the ministry's cars at the airport, move the teachers and their belongings to the accommodations that have been set up for them, and finally work with the Ministry of Interior to get their fingerprints taken. Each teacher will receive a KD 200 advance from the ministry before their employment begins and their first salary is deposited. This is a yearly procedure that helps with teacher affairs.
Additionally, the ministry works with banks to open bank accounts for the teachers and with the Public Authority for Civil Information to finish their processes and provide temporary identification cards for them. A reserve ratio of contracts for teachers was established after the Public Education Sector and the Administrative Sector took into account some instructors' refusals of offers. Additionally, local recruitment will take place to bridge the gap and provide educational cadres for new schools that are anticipated to open at the start of the first semester of the academic year. The majority of job offers were rejected, according to the sources, by Palestinian instructors. They said the Public Education Sector was specific about the ministry’s decision the disciplines required and the years of experience needed in each discipline.

But depending on the percentage of teachers that are available, particularly in scientific fields, there might be exceptions to the rule requiring experience in some disciplines. According to the sources, the ministry's staff will speak with the General Services Department's transportation division to arrange for transportation for the incoming instructors while they are staying in the guest accommodations. In ordToe suitable housing for the female teachers in the ministry housing, they had previously coordinated with the same department. They also made sure that all of the needs of the female teachers were taken care of. They reaffirmed the ministry's commitment to easing teacher affairs from the time of their arrival until they begin working in schools.
