Some Secondary School Administrations Suspended Tablets

A number of secondary school administrations have suspended the “Tablet” project because of non-realization of the expected objectives of the project, reports Al-Anba daily quoting informed sources. They revealed that the directors of several schools have informed teachers to stop using the tablets after it was discovered that they were not being used by the students in the expected manner and there was no Internet service in some schools. The sources said it was discovered from the trial of students using tablets for two academic terms that the students did not benefit from the project. They added, “In fact, the negatives outweighed the positives in this regard”.
