Rajya Sabha Expressed Condolence On Passing Away Of Late Amir Of Kuwait In Its Budget Session

The upper house of Indian Parliament Rajya Sabha expressed sorrow at the passing away of Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah who died during the interregnum period from its last sitting.

Rajya Sabha, which begins its Budget Session on 29th January also expressed sorrow at the passing away of the Prime Minister of Kingdom of Bahrain Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.

The members also rose in their places and observed silence as a mark of respect to the memory of all the departed.

The previous session of the upper house at Indian Parliament was concluded in last year September. Former Amir of Kuwait His Highness Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah passed away on September 29th 2020.
