Rain To Continue On Friday – Moi Urged People To Take All Safety And Security Measures
Kuwait witnessed today sporadic rainfall in various parts of the country late Thursday evening. Where as heavy rain fell in Abdali farms in northern part of the country.
Kuwait meteorological weather forecaster Abdulaziz al-Qarawi said that rains will continue on Friday at varying intervals especially on coastal areas and island.
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) appealed to people on Thursday to be cautious, as the weather conditions are unstable in the country.
The ministry urged people to take all safety and security measures in such conditions, and call in emergencies at 112, the Ministry’s General Department of Public Relations and Security Media said in a press statement.
The Ministry’s field apparatuses are working around the clock to offer security, traffic and humanitarian assistance, it noted.
The Kuwait Meteorological Center expected Thursday scattered, and may be thunderous, rains in the country and a chance of showers on Friday at varying periods, mainly on the coastal areas and the islands.
