Rain Is Likely On Sunday After A Warm Weekend
Kuwait's Meteorological Department says late Monday to early early Tuesday will be dusty, particularly in open areas, with rain possible early Sunday morning. Clouds will cover the sky through Friday morning, when winds will switch from northwesterly to southeasterly.
Earlier today, Yasser Al-Balushi, the head of the Marine Forecasting Department, told Al-Rai that this is happening because an air depression is advancing from the southwest side, which is accompanied by a warm, humid air mass.
According to the Meteorological Administration's Al Balushi, the weather today will be warm with northwest wind speeds fluctuating from 8 to 32 kilometers per hour, and there will be scattered clouds. A maximum temperature of 23 to 25 degrees Celsius is forecast, with light to moderate sea conditions.
He said that the weather tonight will be cold and partly cloudy, with northwesterly winds switching to light to moderate, with speeds between 6 and 28 kph. According to him, it will be partly cloudy and warm on Friday.
There will be a cold front pulling in from the southeast with winds of 6 to 30 kph, and light fog could accumulate over certain areas, according to the forecast. Approximately 12 to 14 degrees Celsius are forecasted as the minimum temperature, and the sea is expected to be moderate.
Al-Balushi explained that there will be a warm day on Saturday and light to moderate southeasterly winds blowing between 15 to 50 kph, which will cause dust to rise. On Saturday night, there will be a cold day and light to moderate southeasterly winds blowing between 15 and 45 kph.
