President Alvi Dissolves Parliament On The Advice Of Prime Minister Khan

At the suggestion of Pakistan's Prime Minister, Imran Khan, President Arif Alvi has dissolved the National Assembly.

On Sunday, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Sur denied a no-confidence resolution against Prime Minister Khan, calling it a violation of Article 5 of the Constitution. Khan also called for new elections.
