Philippines Promotes Medical Tourism In Kuwait To Provide Healthcare For Kuwaitis
The Philippines is pushing forward to be the new partner of Kuwait in providing healthcare for Kuwaitis overseas and is bent on promoting medical tourism, disclosed Philippine Ambassador to Kuwait Renato Pedro Villa during the opening of the Kuwait Health Exhibition and Conference 2018 on Tuesday at the Kuwait International Fair Ground in Mishref.
The event under the patronage of Kuwait Minister of Health Sheikh Basel Hmoud Al-Sabah was inaugurated by Health Undersecretary Dr Mohammad Al-Khashti . Among the participants are hospitals, health & wellness companies, medical suppliers, medical travel industries and other health care professionals and companies “We are very happy to promote medical tourism in the Philippines and we are proud that a Philippine delegation is participating in this event for the third time. We encourage Kuwait and its citizens to check out The Medical City Clark and also explore the possibility of investing in The Medical City,” stated Villa.

In Kuwait, recent reports on Medical Tourism show that Kuwaitis spend over one billion per year overseas for medical care. We want them to experience to experience the true compassionate care that the Philippines has to offer,” outlined Evelyn Yumul, The Medical City Marketing Director who is part of the Philippine delegation led by The Medical City Chief Executive Officer, Dr Cenon R Alfonso and Assistant Marketing Manager Kevin Alfonso.

TMC Clark is offering free body analysis and assessment especially those who are obese and diabetic during the exhibition that will run until April 5 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Hall 4A.
