Parliamentary Committee Discusses Eurofighter Deal With Officials From Sab And Mod

The parliamentary committee tasked to look into the points of interpellation motions against HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al- Hamad Al-Sabah on Tuesday discussed the Eurofighter deal with representatives of the State Audit Bureau (SAB) and Ministry of Defense, says MP Rakan Al-Nisf.

According to Al-Nisf, the committee members were briefed on the technical aspects of the deal as the panel needs this information in preparing a report on the response of the Ministry of Defense to the comments of SAB.

He hopes the report will be completed within one month. He said the Ministry of Defense, represented by the minister and his team, affirmed the final decision to purchase the aircraft.
