Online Iqama Issuance From Next Week

Interior Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah informed the National Assembly yesterday that the ministry will start
granting residence permits online from next week.

Initially this facility will be avaialble only to domestic helpers under Article 20. This will help citizens to renew the residence of their workers without going to the department.

The measure will be applied to other categories in the near future, he added.
