Negative Phenomena Cmttee Allowed Restaurants, Big Cafes,hotels To Hold Parties In Accordance With Standards And Controls

The Negative Phenomena Committee has allowed restaurants, big cafes and hotels to hold parties in accordance with the standards and controls set by the concerned authorities relating to observance of public morality, reports Al-Shahed daily.

The committee’s approval was included in a report submitted to the National Assembly concerning the phenomena of illegal cabins provided by some restaurants and cafes, and loud parties being organized.

To tackle this issue, the committee approved the allocation of places for families and women in restaurants and cafes, provided these places are used in consideration of the religious and moral values.

The committee has ordered restaurants and cafes to schedule the parties in such a manner that they do not extend beyond midnight, as well as restricted licenses for female workers in cafes.
