National Petroleum Opens A New Gas Station In Sabah Al-ahmad
The National Petroleum Company announced the opening of a new fuel filling station in the residential city of Sabah Al-Ahmad bearing the number 138 and it is the fourth station that has been operating since last December in the city, where it is also expected to witness the operation of five other stations during the coming period.
The company confirmed in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) yesterday that the opening of this station reflects the company’s keenness to move forward in its future plan for the gas stations.
At the same time, thet pointed out that the effects of the crisis of the spread of the Corona virus (SARS Cove-2) that causes the disease (Covid 19) during the past weeks and the exceptional challenges that resulted from it did not deter the company from continuing to work according to this plan.
And indicated that the construction of new fuel stations comes in pursuit of the company to meet the growing need for petroleum products and keep pace with the urban expansion witnessed by the state.
The company stated that these stations are distinguished by their modern modern design and use advanced technology for solar energy through solar panels that produce clean energy sufficient to provide 30 percent of the plant’s electricity needs.
She explained that the new stations also contain a steam recovery unit capable of capturing fumes while filling the vehicle’s tank with fuel and then condensing them and returning them to the tank, which contributes to reducing environmental pollution
