Municipality Removed 5 Cafe Joints
Emergency team from the Capital Municipality removed five café joints along the coast and warned six other cafés to remove infringements, including the use of huge gas cylinders without license.
In a crackdown on cafés and restaurants using the area without license, which lasted three days, the team removed a number of cabins on the coast without obtaining licenses from concerned authorities. The team also registered violations related to grilling meat and chicken in the public gardens and beaches to destroy plants in the gardens.
It warned people frequenting the beaches and public gardens, and not to organize barbeques in unlicensed areas to avoid legal responsibility.
The team asked the owners of cafés and restaurants to comply with the borders given to them on the license to avoid legal penalty. The team further raided the accommodations of bachelors inside private and ideal accommodations in various areas of the governorate based on the decision of the Cabinet issued in this domain.
