Municipality Allocates 8 Sites For Housing Complexes For Expatriate Workers

Deputy Director General at Kuwait Municipality agreed to allocate 8 sites for the establishment of housing complexes for expatriate workers in Ahmadi and Al-Jahra governorates.

According to local report, each site is with an area of ??150 thousand square meters. The municipality will refer the matter to the municipal council soon to make the final decision regarding it, report added.

The report added that each site will consist of fur stories for housing, two floors and basement for service utilities, 5 percent of the site for commercial activities.

The sites will be handed over to the authorities, which in turn, auction to the private sector for building the workers city within a specific period of time.
