Monday Afternoon Will Likely Be Rainy With Thunderstorms

The Kuwait Meteorological Department said that the country is expected to witness a rainy evening on Monday, with thunderstorms, and the chances of rain will continue until Tuesday after noon.

Director of the Meteorological Department, Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, told Kuwait News Agency that the rain will be of varying intensity between light and medium, and heavy in some areas.

Al-Qarawi also added that there are chances of hailstones falling in some areas of the country and lowering horizontal visibility in some areas.

He pointed out that the gradual improvement in weather conditions will begin after Tuesday midnight and the chances of rain will gradually disappear.
