Moh Sends Lists Of Stranded Employees For Arranging Their Return
The Ministry of Health (MoH) has completed the preparation of lists for all its employees and workers in its facilities, including doctors, nurses, radiologists, laboratories and administrators, who are stranded outside Kuwait, in preparation for their return to the country within the next few days, Al Jarida said quoting informed sources.
The ministry sent these statements to the Council of Ministers in preparation for handing over the details to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), to take measures to facilitate their return, noting that the information contained in the report included the doctors’ medical, nursing, technical and administrative personnel, their full name, job, civil id number, work center, specialization, passport number and nationality, and the country of residence.
As part of the preventative health measure against the coronavirus, arrivals specifically medical staff will have to spend a mandatory 7-day quarantine period before being allowed to work, in addition to other preventive measures, including subjecting the returnees to a PCR test and conducting laboratory swabs on 10% of them randomly upon arrival to Kuwait.
A large number of doctors, medical and administrative staff working in MoH arrived in Kuwait in the past few weeks via flights from transit countries not on the 34 country ban list.
