MOH Pushes For Digitalization Of Health Services
Minister of Health Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi reaffirmed the Ministry’s dedication to implementing the government’s agenda focused on enhancing primary healthcare services and digitalizing healthcare operations. The minister’s statement came during the inauguration of the annual Diagnostic Imaging Updates conference, which took place in Kuwait from February 8 to 10.
Dr. Al-Awadhi highlighted the government’s commitment to advancing primary healthcare, establishing new clinics, and providing training opportunities for healthcare personnel as part of its comprehensive development strategy. He emphasized the Ministry’s adoption of state-of-the-art technology and emerging opportunities to enhance healthcare delivery, noting that the conference would address various challenges, including the integration of artificial intelligence into healthcare practices.
The minister underscored the significance of scientific gatherings like the conference in fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among experts, ultimately benefiting the scientific and professional communities. Dr. Asma’a Al-Failakawi, Chairperson of the Diagnostic Imaging Updates conference and Head of the Diagnostic Radiology Department at Al Amiri Hospital emphasized the event’s role in bringing together global and local experts and consultants in the field of diagnostic radiology.
Dr. Al-Failakawi explained that the conference provided a comprehensive update on breast, cardiac, and gastrointestinal imaging through lectures and interactive sessions, with a particular focus on the integration of artificial intelligence into diagnostic practices. The event aimed to facilitate knowledge exchange and advance the application of innovative technologies in diagnostic imaging for improved patient care and outcomes.
