Modern Supply System For Smart Market Licenses

The Ministry of Interior has initiated a modern practice for specialized companies aimed at supplying two million smart market licenses and their printing supplies to the General Directorate of Traffic.

The Interior Ministry made a decision three months ago to transition to electronic driving licenses for residents within the country starting December 10, 2023. This eliminates the need for physical printing.

Renewals are now done online via the Ministry of Interior’s website and the “Sahl” unified government electronic services app. Applicants meeting the required conditions and regulations will have their applications accepted electronically, with license activation through the Ministry of Interior’s “My Identity” app.
