Driving License Renewal And Replacement Self-service Devices
The General Directorate of Relations and Security Media at Kuwait's Ministry of Interior has introduced 15 self-service machines that are expandable in an effort to enhance services and streamline processes. This development is part of the ongoing digital transformation initiated by the General Traffic Department to provide citizens and residents with efficient and digitized services.
In order to meet the needs of users, the self-service devices have been strategically placed across several governorates and commercial centers, operating both during the morning and evening hours. These machines offer a range of services, including the renewal of driving licenses and the issuance of replacement licenses for lost or damaged ones. Through the "Online" application, users can access these services through self-service machines located in shopping malls and commercial centers.
Moreover, the General Traffic Department has integrated the renewal of driving licenses with the "Sahel" and "Hawiyati" applications to ensure license compliance. This digital transformation aims to simplify the process and reduce the need for physical paperwork.
In the case of high demand for self-service machines or for users who prefer in-person assistance, dedicated service centers have been established. Additional to the General Traffic Department's various offices, these centers provide citizens with special counters to facilitate their transactions.
Kuwait is committed to improving services and providing a seamless experience for its citizens and residents with this technological advancement. The Ministry of Interior is taking significant steps to modernize and simplify various administrative processes by integrating digital services and self-service machines.
