Moci Officials Banned From Sponsoring All Types Of Trade Exhibitions

Minister of Commerce and Industry Khaled Al-Roudhan has taken new measures to consolidate the role of the ministry as a regulatory regulator for all types of trade exhibitions.

According to sources, the minister issued a decree to ban officials and supervisors in the ministry from sponsoring any exhibition, activity or conference, irrespective of the type, objective and organizing party, without obtaining a written approval from him.

This decision comes within the framework of organizing the work of the ministry so that its name is not exploited, and to legitimize exhibitions. The sources revealed that this move is also aimed at blocking some of the exhibition owners who exploit the presence of the ministry’s officials at the site for promotional purposes as though the officials are supporting their exhibitions.
