Ministry Of Health Concludes Application Process For Hajj Medical Team
The Ministry of Health has wrapped up the application period for individuals interested in joining the medical services team and staff for the upcoming Hajj campaign. Nearly 2,000 applicants have registered for these roles.
Health sources, speaking to Al-Anbaa newspaper, revealed that the names of applicants aspiring to be part of the Kuwaiti Hajj delegation's medical team and Hajj campaign staff are currently being sorted and tallied. This meticulous process adheres to established criteria and regulations, in anticipation of submission to the Minister of Health for final approval. A ministerial decision on the matter is expected imminently.
Doctors wishing to join the medical services team must hold specializations in internal medicine, family medicine, general practice, or emergency medicine, along with a valid license to practice in Kuwait. Pharmacists, nurses, health inspectors, and emergency medical technicians are required to hold a diploma or higher in their respective fields, alongside employment under the Ministry of Health and a valid professional license.
Administrators must have a minimum of five years of service with the Ministry of Health and five years of relevant experience. It's important to note that applications for the medical services team are exclusively open to Kuwaiti citizens.
