Ministry Of Education Extends Deadline To Appoint Kuwaiti Teachers To May 2

24 March 2024 Education

Anwar Al-Hamdan, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, has given approval to extend the deadline for appointing new male and female Kuwaiti teachers by one month. Originally set to end on April 4, the deadline now extends until the end of the working day on Thursday, May 2.

The extension aims to facilitate the completion of necessary procedures for newly appointed educational staff between the Civil Service Commission and the Ministry of Education. Sources revealed to Al-Anbaa newspaper that graduates from Kuwait University's College of Education and the College of Basic Education from Applied Sciences have been transferred from the Civil Service Commission for teaching appointments.

This development prompted the extension, ensuring all candidates have ample time to complete their appointment procedures. This is particularly crucial as the Ministry plans to open several new schools in the upcoming academic year, starting in September.
