Ministerial Report Calls For Dissolution Of Parliament

A government source disclosed that a report prepared by the concerned ministerial committee that evaluated the relationship between the two authorities concluded on dissolving the National Assembly before February, indicating it’s the best decision for the Government and lawmakers alike.
The source informed that the report, which will be referred to the political leadership, stated that cooperation of Government with the National Assembly was good, although it did not achieve 60 percent of its desire. He stressed that the cost of that cooperation was very huge and expected it to increase during the next parliamentary round, as the lawmakers are preparing to round up their term.
This will obviously spur the lawmakers to be looking for ways to gain popularity at the expense of national interests. However, the recommendation left the final decision in the hand of HH the Amir who has absolute authority to take appropriate action.
