Mew Awaits Approval To Launch The Second Phase Of Smart Meters

Ministry of Electricity and Water (MEW) has addressed the Ministry of Finance and the Fatwa and Legislation Department to obtain the necessary approvals to launch the second phase of smart meters, Al-Rai reported quoting informed sources.

The sources told the daily that the second phase will include the supply and installation of 200,000 electricity meters and 300,000 water meters.
