Major-general Al-zoubi: 2,000 Security Personnel And 300 Patrols On Duty During National Celebrations
Major General Faraj Al-Zoubi, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Public Security Affairs, revealed the security and traffic plan to ensure no untoward incidents occur during the national holidays, saying that anyone who breaks the law will be arrested and reported to the appropriate authorities right away.
Major General Al-Zoubi told Al-Qabas that the security instructions are clear and explicit and that those who are not committed to public morals during the National Day and Liberation Day celebrations will be arrested and transferred to the competent authorities, in accordance with Article 198, first paragraph.
He stated that police stations will be fully operational during the national holidays, and the public security sector is fully prepared to carry out the tasks entrusted to it with the participation of 2,000 security officers and 300 security patrols from the public security sector to deal firmly with any negative phenomena such as spraying water, squatting on vehicle roofs or bonnets, lurking out of windows, obstructing traffic, parking in prohibited areas, and partaking in illegal activities.
He advised everyone to follow and respect security authorities' directives, highlighting that the Environment Police will not allow environmental infractions during national celebrations, particularly when it comes to throwing trash in places that are not allocated for it.
