Lawyer Jailed Over Child Drugs In Kuwait

12 May 2022 Crime News

Reuters reports that a prosecutor in Kuwait remanded a lawyer for 21 days pending further investigation into allegations that he compelled a boy to take drugs and sexually assaulted him.

Al Qabas newspaper said an investigative judge denied the lawyer's request for release, ordering him to remain in custody.

Lawyer charged with sexual assault and forcibly forcing boy to take drugs in office, it stated.

The case became public last month after the boy's expatriate father filed a police report alleging the lawyer lured his boy to his office and assaulted him.

The father reported his son having been lured to the lawyer's office with money and forced to take drugs, as well as having been sexually assaulted by the lawyer.
