Kuwait Airways commemorated its 70th anniversary on Tuesday with a significant stride forward, unveiling a fresh logo and broadening its service horizons. This milestone reflects the airline's steadfast commitment to realizing its ambitious visions.

Abdulmohsen Al-Fagaan, Chairman of the Board of Directors, affirmed during a press briefing that Kuwait Airways is dedicated to enhancing its infrastructure through the integration of cutting-edge aviation technologies.

In a bid to elevate passenger experience, Kuwait Airways has forged partnerships with domestic culinary entities to elevate the onboard dining experience. Additionally, they introduced a convenient luggage home delivery service for travelers arriving in Kuwait.

Al-Fagaan further announced the introduction of the 'Blue Bird Channel' across all aircraft screens, offering a curated selection of programs and documentaries to cater to passengers' entertainment preferences.

Highlighting the airline's operational expansion, Al-Fagaan revealed plans to operate 50 flights to 46 destinations daily during the winter season, with an anticipated increase to 54 destinations come summer.

The frequency of flights to key hubs such as London will be augmented to meet growing demand, with additional weekly flights slated for Munich, Vienna, Barcelona, Malaga, Bodrum, Sarajevo, Salalah, Antalya, Nice, and Taif in Saudi Arabia.

Moreover, Kuwait Airways will introduce a weekly flight to Madrid, with the potential for further expansion based on market dynamics.

Abdulhameed Al-Ali, Director of the company's operation department, highlighted Kuwait Airways' commitment to nurturing aviation talent through two scholarship programs, facilitating education and training in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education.

Established in 1953, Kuwait Airways inaugurated its inaugural flight on March 16, 1954, proudly serving as a government-owned entity.
