Kuwaiti Woman Cheated In Lucrative Business Offer

An unidentified Kuwaiti woman has filed a complaint with the Adailiya Police Station accusing an unidentified person of cheating her, reports Al-Rai daily. She told the investigator the suspect runs a company importing Italian goods and offered her to be his partner in business. She said she accepted the offer and gave the man 21,000 dinars.

She added, after she invested the money she waited for some time to reap the benefits but nothing happened. When she called the man, he started giving excuses and returned only 3,000 dinars and reassured her that he will pay the rest of the amount saying certain things prevent her from being the partner. She waited for a long time and when the man did not show up with the rest of the money, she told police, she had to file a complaint against the man. He will be summoned for interrogation. In the meantime a case of fraud has been registered against the man.
