Kuwaiti Red Crescent Distributes Masks And Sterilizers In The National Evangelical Church
The Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society distributed on Thursday the masks and sterilizers to worshipers in the National Evangelical Church in Kuwait as a precautionary measure to confront the emerging corona virus (Covid 19)
In a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Reverend Emanuel Gharib affirmed that the National Evangelical Church supports the official and civil efforts of the state to combat this epidemic.
Pastor Gharib added that this urgent circumstance requires the concerted efforts of official and private institutions and work together to provide the needs, supplies and programs that support the efforts to combat the epidemic.
He stated that the Kuwaiti Red Crescent initiatives reflect its keenness to enhance its position as an integral part of the Kuwaiti social fabric, expressing its deep thanks to the community’s collective role in serving the nation.
For his part, Khaled Al-Zaid, Director of Public Relations and Information at the Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society, told (KUNA) that the society is continuing its community initiative in distributing protective supplies and brochures to prevent (Corona) in the National Evangelical Church.
Al-Zaid added that since the beginning of the Corona crisis, the association has distributed health supplies, both in mosques, state institutions and churches in Kuwait, to protect citizens and residents from this disease.
He stressed the importance of the role of civil society in helping the responsible authorities in the country to limit the spread of the virus and permanent awareness of citizens and residents to maintain their safety.
Al-Zaid expressed his hope to increase awareness among citizens and residents of not spreading the virus by following the health requirements to prevent this epidemic.Â
