Kuwait University Is Considering A Bachelor's Degree In Cyber Security

Kuwait University has advocated for the development of skills, the expansion of academic tracks, and the alignment of job titles to reflect the nature of the specialization and assigned work, as well as the promotion of the Bachelor of Cyber Security discipline.

This occurred during the College of Life Sciences' second cyber security conference, which drew over 500 attendees in person or by live broadcast technology on the YouTube platform, in collaboration with Kuwait University's E-Learning Center, according to a local Arabic daily.

Dr Ahmed Al-Lafi, Acting Dean of the College of Life Sciences, emphasized the necessity of hosting these conferences in order to develop a strong scientific base with specialists and scientists in the field of cyber security.

Dr Badr Ali, Acting Head of the Information Sciences Department at the College of Life Sciences, said the conference discussed several important topics in the fields of cyber security and information security in various vital sectors with a selection of local and international experts, indicating that the department continues to work with the university administration.
