Kuwait will receive the fourth batch of Pakistani medical practitioners — 136 doctors, nurses and technicians specialized in intensive care, anesthetics and chest and internal diseases — to assist the national medical teams in combating covid-19 by the end of this week , reports Al-Jarida daily quoting sources. Sources revealed the Ministry of Health has completed procedures for the issuance of visas to the fourth batch of Pakistani medical workers, indicating this batch will undergo home quarantine for a week and start working once the quarantine period ends.

Sources said the fourth batch will be assigned in Farwaniya, Adan, Jaber, Jahra and Mubarak Al-Kabeer hospitals to work in intensive care units and assist national medical teams. Sources confirmed that the four batches of Pakistani medical practitioners consist of 763 doctors, technicians and nurses; indicating that about 75 percent of the Pakistani teams are from the nursing sector and all of them are specialized in intensive care, internal diseases, chest and others.
