Kuwait Municipality Partners With Commercial Bank For Derwaza Of Al-Abd Al-Razzaq Tunnel Restoration

Kuwait Municipality has announced a significant collaboration with the Commercial Bank for the development and restoration of the Derwaza of Al-Abd Al-Razzaq tunnel in Kuwait City. Chairman of Kuwait Municipality, Saud Al-Dabbous, expressed confidence in the project's completion, emphasizing adherence to the highest safety standards.

Following the contract signing with Sheikh Ahmad Al-Duaij Al-Sabah, Chairman of Commercial Bank of Kuwait, Al-Dabbous highlighted the Municipality's efforts to ensure the legality of donation procedures through consultation with the Fatwa and Legislation Department.

Applauding the Commercial Bank's initiative and the involvement of the private sector, Al-Dabbous underscored the engineering complexity of the Derwaza, emphasizing his personal supervision over project progress.

Deputy Director General of the Projects Sector in the Municipality, Maysa Bushehri, affirmed that thorough contract examination and technical preparations have been completed to initiate the restoration work in coordination with the bank contractor.
