Recruitment Fees for Filipinos 700 KD and Sri Lankans 750 KD
In a message aimed at reassuring Kuwaiti citizens, Mohammed Ahmed Al-Alyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Durra Manpower Company, highlighted significant efforts underway to address the recruitment of domestic workers, aiming to ease the burden on citizens. He emphasized that following directives from key leaders including His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah and Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef Al-Sabah, efforts are actively progressing.
Al-Alyan detailed the costs associated with recruiting domestic workers: 700 dinars for Filipino workers and 750 dinars for Sri Lankan workers, with these amounts inclusive of travel tickets. Additionally, recruiting a domestic worker, driver, or cook costs 180 dinars, including the ticket.
He also announced plans to establish branches of Al-Durra Manpower Company across various governorates in collaboration with the Cooperative Societies Union, highlighting the union's supportive cooperation. These branches are expected to commence operations soon to better serve citizens.
Acknowledging collaborative efforts, Al-Alyan mentioned partnerships with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior, and Public Authority for Manpower to expand recruitment markets in new Asian and African countries. He expressed optimism for tangible outcomes soon, appreciating the proactive support from various government agencies.
Concluding his message, Al-Alyan extended gratitude to key entities including Kuwait Airways, the Public Investment Authority, Public Authority for Minors Affairs, Public Institution for Social Security, and Union of Cooperative Societies for their steadfast backing of Al-Durra Manpower Company's initiatives.
