Kuwait Fire Force Is Prepared For The Rainy Season

In preparation for the upcoming rainy season, acting Interior Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled inspected the Kuwait Fire Force center.

Khaled Al-Mekrad, head of the KFF, and the Minister inspected the most advanced hydraulic water pumps which are capable of pumping up to 550,000 liters per minute as well as some electric and mechanical pumps.

As part of the review of rescue plans, the minister ensured that major accidents would be handled quickly, that the department would be able to dispatch squads to handle any weather instability-related incidents with minimal damage, and that the operations room would be equipped with the latest and most technological appliances.

Additionally, the minister heard a detailed description of the emergency procedures to be deployed by the central command in the event of an emergency or major accident.
