Kuwait Entered A Decisive Stage In Confronting Corona
The country has entered a new critical stage in the face of the outbreak of the Coronavirus with the introduction of a comprehensive ban.
Health authorities hope that the total ban will achieve the desired results of preventing and eliminating the spread of the disease.
The country had witnessed hours before the application of the ban, unusual crowding and unprecedented heavy demand for cooperative societies, markets and gas distribution centers, and the video scenes that showed lack of adherence to the rules of physical separation and health procedures sent fears that the number of injuries would rise significantly in the coming days, after The country yesterday registered two new shocking records, the first and the highest number of cases, recording 1065 new cases of the virus during the 24 hours, bringing the total cases recorded to 8688 cases, and the other is 9 new deaths in one day, bringing the total deaths to 58 cases.
On the other hand, the infection of 103 employees of the Corona virus in the Khalidiya Cooperative Society put the officials of the Ministry of Health in a compulsory course, which is the necessity of conducting checks and surveys for all workers in the cooperative societies.
Well-informed sources revealed to Al-Qabas that «Health» is currently preparing its teams to implement a campaign of tests aimed at taking smears from the employment of cooperative societies in shelter schools currently in more than one region.
Corona virus struck many cooperative societies, in recent days, which led to the closure of the supermarkets of Adailiya, Al-Rabieh, Jaber Al-Ali and Salmiya cooperatives.
The "Health" teams, yesterday, took smears from 34 workers in the Rumaithiya Association, whose results will be released today or tomorrow at the latest.
Al-Qabas sources called for the necessity of cooperative boards of directors cooperating with Ministry teams in subjecting employees to these Corona tests.
