Kuwait Airways Will Restart Its Flights To Geneva, Munich And Frankfurt From July 9
Kuwait Airways announced the resumption of its commercial flights to Geneva in Switzerland and Munich and Frankfurt in Germany, starting from July 9, with two flights per week to each destination.
Director of the Public Relations and Media Department in the company, Fayez Al-Enezi, said today, Monday, that (Kuwait Airways) will return its flights to Geneva, starting next Friday, corresponding to July 9, with two flights per week.
Al-Enezi added that two weekly flights will be allocated to Munich, starting from July 17, as well as two weekly flights to Frankfurt, starting from the beginning of August.
In this regard, he valued the decision of the Council of Ministers and the Ministerial Committee for Corona Emergency to allow direct flights from Kuwait to 12 countries.
He stressed the importance of the decision during this period, especially during the summer season, which contributes to revitalizing the tourism and travel sector in general and the commercial air transport sector in particular.
He stated that the company had, during the previous period, reopened and operated a number of important destinations for travelers, foremost of which was the London destination, which operated with a weekly flight last month.
He revealed that the company plans to increase the number of weekly flights to London after the approval of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation, noting that it operates three flights a week to Bodrum and Trabzon in Turkey, in addition to the regular operation to Istanbul last month.Â
