Kuwait Airways: Commercial Flights To Cairo Will Be Restarted From Tomorrow, With Two Flights Per Day

Today, Saturday, Kuwait Airways announced the resumption of its commercial flights to and from the Egyptian capital, Cairo, starting from tomorrow, Sunday, with two flights per day.

The director of the Public Relations and Media Department at the company, Fayez Al-Enezi, said in a press statement that the first flight to Cairo will take place tomorrow, Sunday, at 12:25 pm, while the second flight will leave tomorrow also at 11:35 pm.

Al-Enezi added that this destination is of great importance to all customer segments and is witnessing a heavy turnout, stressing that Kuwait Airways will announce the reopening of other destinations in Egypt in the coming days after completing the necessary official approvals.

He explained that Kuwait Airways is fully prepared and ready with all its operational and support sectors to complete the return of the full normal commercial operation for flights to and from Kuwait, and is also ready to increase the operational capacity and passenger capacity.

He stressed that Kuwait Airways is constantly striving to give passengers on its planes wider options to meet their travel needs and provide them with a better service by launching new and diverse destinations.

Kuwait Airways launched 10 permanent and summer destinations in mid-June, which are London, Sarajevo, Paris, Geneva, Munich, Frankfurt, Trabzon, Bodrum, Tbilisi and Malacca.

It is noteworthy that the General Administration of Civil Aviation announced yesterday, Friday, that tomorrow, Sunday, will be set as a date for operating and resuming direct commercial flights between Kuwait and Egypt, and that 9 Kuwaiti and Egyptian air carriers will operate the line between the two brotherly countries according to the number of seats specified between them, in accordance with the recent cabinet decision to increase the capacity at the airport.
