Kuwait Active On First Night The Curfew Was Lifted
On the first night of the end of the curfew imposed for months, the streets and main roads were crowded the day before yesterday, with young people and families going out to restaurants, while the beaches were filled with excited people. It was remarkable that many citizens and expats left the houses at midnight to the open spaces, while the youth preferred to sit in cafes to drink coffee and eat food, and the restaurant scattered on the coastline were also filled with customers. On the other side, the seafronts witnessed a remarkable turnout from citizens and residents, many of whom stayed up until the early hours of yesterday morning, expressing joy for the return of life and was encouraged by the end of the coronavirus
Prior to the closing hour set at ten in the evening, commercial complexes was thronged with a large gathering of citizens and expats, who crowded at the Avenues, Marina, Al Kout and 360 Complex, in addition to the markets spread in Salmiya, Hawalli, Fahaheel and other areas.
With the return of life, it was remarkable that citizens and expats adhered to health requirements, social distancing and wearing masks. It was also striking that the sales of markets and cooperative societies increased dramatically the day before yesterday with the lifting of the partial curfew in the country, and market-goers expressed their joy at the return to normal life.
