8 Million Kd Collected As Blood Money To Spare Killer

The campaign of the Al-Awazim tribe which aims to raise 10 million KD to free Khaled Naqa Al-Azmi as a blood money to the family of media woman Hedayat Al-Sultan who was killed in 2000 managed to collect 8 million KD by night.

 

It has been reported the convict has already spent 19 years in prison and if the money is paid to the family of the victim he can be set free, if not he has to spend another 15 years behind bars.

Al-Fahimah appreciated the role of the Ministry of Affairs in approving the collection of donations. He thanked all the tribes and families who called for contributing to the donation and opening the boxes in their offices, calling for coordination with the committee to support them. He also called on a number of tribal elders and dignitaries to participate in the fundraising campaign and to make more efforts to collect amount for blood money and free Khaled Naqa Al-Azmi.
