Kpc To Discuss Transferring Administering Of Ahmadi City To State

The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) is looking into the possibility of transferring the management of Al-Ahmadi city to the state. This step is to ease the burdens on the management of the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) and enable it to carry out the basic tasks entrusted to it, which is the production of oil and gas, Al Anbaa reported quoting the official source.

The source told the daily that the KPC board of directors directed the executive management of both the KPC and the Kuwait Oil Company to discuss this matter and report on what conclusion was reached.

The Kuwait Oil Company supervises the entire Ahmadi city, where it provides all services, cleaning, and roads as a privilege for the company.

Al-Ahmadi city is described as an oil city, and it is one of the important cities that contributed to the reconstruction of Kuwait. Al-Ahmadi city was established in a modern style that goes along with the industrial era.

Over the years, Al-Ahmadi has become an integrated city in terms of the availability and diversity of services and facilities, as it includes the main offices of the Kuwait Oil Company, its sports clubhouse, the Petroleum Training Center, in addition to many facilities such as the new
