Kpc Keen On Preserving Public Funds - States Ceo
Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) CEO, Hashem Hashem, on Saturday, affirmed the corporation’s keenness to preserve public money. In a statement to KUNA, Hashem stressed that in the case of suspicions or discrepancies, the institution directly conducts an internal investigation in conjunction with the ones run by neutral committees.
He noted that KPC pays great attention to observations of all oversight bodies, both external and internal, and takes them seriously. Hashem appreciated the role of the legislative authority represented by the National Assembly, stressing KPC’s commitment to adhere to the principle of full cooperation with the parliament to complete its oversight role in order to achieve the common goal of serving Kuwait’s interest.
KPC is the national oil company; focusing on exploration, production, petrochemicals, refining, marketing, and transportation. It produces about seven percent of the world’s total crude oil.
