KD71.757 Million To Be Transferred From Al-Rajaan Couple By Court Order

In accordance with the court ruling issued against the late Fahd Al-Rajaan and his wife Mona Al-Wazzan in the public funds embezzlement case number 1499 of 2008, the Public Prosecution has requested the Ministry of Justice to transfer KD71,757,000 to the public treasury, which will then be recovered from them, reports Al-Qabas daily. It was the prosecution's duty to protect public funds that prompted this action.
